Fat is bad for you, carbs are bad for you, suger is bad for you. I think the lesson to take from all of this is that food is bad for you. To live a long and healthy life you should try to avoid eating food. Any and everything will give you cancer make you fat and skinny at the same time and is great and horrible for muscle growth and training.

After 37 years of experience i have dropped rice and beans, pork meat and some Other foods that my body seem to transform in fat immediatelly. Lost 20 kg. Every body its unique. I for example can eat chocolate and bread without any problems. But no type of ryce. I tried 50 grams of rice and cut bread(Nutricionists advice) It went horribly wrong 3 kg in one week. 6 glucose points in my bloodwork. Etc...

I eat a low carb (30 grams or less a day) and no sugar lifestyle. I also include fasting on a weekly basis. I feel the best I ever felt in my life!

I have been living the Keto lifestyle for some time and will never go back to my old way of eating. I was always hungry and ate all the time. Now I eat twice a day. I only eat quality organic food now. I have lost 23 lbs. and look better than I have in 40 years. I really don't miss the carbs because how badly I felt eating my old foods. I no longer get headaches, my joints feel much better and I feel more relaxed and calmer. I can backpack longer and further. I just feel much better. My wife and some of my friends have also gone Keto as you can't argue with results. Its truly life changing.

4:56 "What we need to remember is that's not a solution for everyone"... WHY WOULDN'T IT BE A SOLUTION FOR EVERYONE? Isn't insulin applicable to everyone? There is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate, there are essential fatty acids and essential proteins/amino acids but not essential sugars - the body can produce glucose from other macronutrients via gluconeogenesis. There is money in sugar, a lot of it and when you hear someone say that you need sugar/carbohydrates in your diet you should probably check their level of education on the topic or their motivation for telling you to eat carbs. For the most part, the bulk of the carbohydrates you consume should be from vegetables and fruits - I love pasta and bread but they're not essential :)

Yes Keto works. I saw a friend but didnโ€™t recognize him. He had been obese/chubby, now heโ€™s super slim like a male model. He did it with: 1/2 lemon juice in 1T apple cider vinegar, in 1/2 cup water, drink it first thing in the morning. You can have you coffee or tea but only sweetened with monk fruit sugar with erythritol. No fake sweetness. When you eat a plate of food, 1/4 is protein of choice, 1/4 is fat of choice (such as avocado or bacon or nuts etc), 1/2 the plate is piled in vegetables (no potatos of any kind, no rice, steamed baked or whatever). The fat melted off day by day. No baked goods, no candy. Only fruit you eat is berries (such as in a smoothie).

I have been eating low carb food for one month and I have lost 8kg. I do not agree that it is restrictive because I am eating different foods that I normally wouldnโ€™t eat. The only people this is bad for is the fast food giants and producers of low quality supermarket packet meals.

Sugar > Salt > Alcohol Because an infection with helicobacter pylori and e.coli are FAR more dangerous when you eat salt than sugar. That's why I stay the hell away from salt. You don't want to have any salt or it worsens your microbiome. You just get sodium from your diet. And alchocol takes the first place as being the worst. 10 times worse than sugar. You can live on sugar but you cant live on alcohol. Just because women crave salt doesnt mean it's good. Its not about eating heaps of something. It's about it's quality is and what it promotes. Salt promotes a dysbiotic gut. Sugar does too but not as much as salt. When I had an infection, sugar never gave me the pain in my stomach like salt did. I'd rather risk becoming a diabetic than risk destroying my microbiome and getting anhedonia and IBD and Alzheimer's from salt. Stop eating salt. Just get sodium from your healthy foods. Salt isn't healthy even if it's natural. Its because it's made out of something that makes pathogenic bacteria multiply. Sugar makes them multiply too but not like salt. Even alcohol is worse than salt. It causes IBD by damaging your gut lining. It also depends what sugars you have. Banana is good. But even having Himalayan salt gives me stomach pain when I have a urinary tract infection. Salt is worse than sugar even if sugar causes mood issues. Salt causes more stomach pain and promotes higher rates of infection. I also stay away from man made sugar. I stick to fruit sugar. Alot of anything is bad but if you've noticed. Juiced mango and strawberry and avocado are far healthier as a fruit cocktail than artificially sweetened fruit cocktails.
