In partnership with FaveDiets ( http://www.FaveDiets.com ) recipe site, I wanted to release one more video before Christmas. This one gives all the flavor of a former favorite Taco Pizza and is really simple to make. I hope you guys like it.

Ingredients:
4 eggs
3/4 cup Heavy Cream
2 TBS Taco Seasoning
8-10 oz Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
1# Ground Beef
1 Green Pepper
2 TBS Salsa
Topping - Lettuce, Salsa, Sour Cream

Serving Size (6 Servings):
436 Calories, 35g Fat, 5g Carbs (1g Fiber) , 26g Protein

Hi Kent !! Today is Dec 20 2018 and as u know, I restarted Atkins the other day and for some reason, I was craving a taco meal so I looked u up on here and found this recipe. In a couple days I wanna go to the store n buy the ingredients to make it. this recipe says it has 5 carbs. is it for the whole recipe or ea. serv.?

I made this (with chicken instead) and it was pretty darn tasty! The egg crust was a little too moist, but then I used an 11x7 pan. I didn't think Kent was using an actual 9x13, it looked too small for that. Clearly he's a giant.

Looks so good but 35 grams of fat per serving is not healthy.

Okay I just made a version of this for dinner.  I used a cashew cream instead of heavy cream and seasoned it the way I like my Mexi food seasoned and...OMGosh this turned out great.  Thanks for sharing this recipe.

This is one of my sure fire recipes to make, and for a guy who loves Taco pizza, this one does great.

Absolutely, It's an Induction Friendly vegetable, classified as an "Other Vegetable (1 cup per day)."

I browned 2 pounds, but I only used one pound of it in the recipe. I put the other pound in the fridge for something else.

You say in the video 2 lbs ground beef but the recipe at the end says 1 lb. Which is correct?

Yep, that is what I would do. You could then portion it into single portions (ziplock or airtight containers) and freeze them separately. You can them reheat for up to a month later.

if you live alone what would be the best way to make this so you could reheat?....maybe dont put the topping on until each time you eat it?....

Congrats on the pounds! I was surprised too how much the crust could get to the former flour based ones and hold up to the ingredients on top.

I think limiting carbs is indeed an effective solution and often least depriving solution for many people after the first few weeks. I think Fats and Protein can certainly be enough for boxing. I run marathons and do HIIT workouts on my ketogenic diets, and even Ronda Rousey of MMA fame says she follows a primal or paleo-type diet.

If it is just a few pounds, going low carb might be too restrictive for you. It will drop the weight quick, but your motivation for long term change might just lead the weight to come back on. Low carb also preserves the lean body mass the best.

Read the ingredients. If it contains sugars of any form (dextrose, maltodextrin, potato starch, modified food starch, etc.), then it is off limits. There may be some that are fine, but all the commercial ones I have found have those added sugars. Check out my Sugar by any other name video for more names of added sugar/starches.

Thank you for being an inspiration to many. Weight-loss can be very difficult for a lot of ppl, but your videos and recipes make Atkin's less intimidating. I cant wait for school to start back up so that my teacher collegues can "oooh and ahhhh" all of the great food ive learned to make because of you! Do you have a quick and easy way to make a low carb taco seasoning? I cant recall if I have seen you do one, or not. Thank you! :)

I am glad you liked it! For sausage, I typically purchase Farmland (Sausage, Ham, and Bacon) or more preferrably my butcher makes one. It is often as cheap as any more commercial one ($2/lb or less) I would not worry about your sausage if you eat one with 1g or less per serving.

Can I ask you what brands of sausage, bacon or ham you use? I seem to have found hidden sugars in every brand I have looked at. I have limited it to few times a week, I have lost 18 pounds in a month so far, so i guess it isn't hurting??

@hrj318881 I usually do these recipes one of two ways. Add the whole recipe to Fitday, and then take the totals and create a custom food. With that new custom food, you can thing add it and then the portion (1/6th, 1/4th, 1/8th) that you ate. That is the longer way with these multiple food recipes. The shorter way is to add the portion of the total of each item you ate. I like using the first one for the ones I am going to eat more often, and the second one for the one I only eat once.

@hannahkathrynodom No, that is the total carbohydrates. Net carbs for this recipe would be 4g.

@TheAshbrittany Hopefully I will have a videographer tonight to film another one of my videos, so be looking for one late tonight or tomorrow morning. This one won't be Induction Friendly, but it'll be something to look forward to after your done with Induction. I am glad you liked this one.

@marnao122 I encourage tweaking of all my recipes to your tastes. I know I often tweak and change things up based upon my own tastes or just simply what I have in the house. Experimentation is the joy of cooking, and perhaps one of the reasons my baking side is not as good. :-)

I can't wait to try this recipe, but I think instead of green pepers(because I don't care much for them) I will use red bell pepper(a little less than what you used) and maybe do a little bit of onion also.
