Most weight loss tips don't work long-term because they focus on quick fixes. In this video, I'm going to share 9 science-backed tips that do work and have research to back them up. These are the tips that helped me lose 40 pounds gradually and keep it off.

Healthy mind in a healthy body ☺️. All you need is a balanced diet, instead of keto. For example finish breaky at 8:30 am, 11:30 a cup of coffee, 2:30 lunch, 4:30pm a piece of fruit. 7:30pm dinner. Then 8:30 dessert, or popcorn 🍿 with favourite TV show. Plenty of water, no sugary drinks, no chocolates, packets of chips & eating out once a week. Or 5 day intervels. For example Saturday, then thursday, then skip one week & again Saturday & thursday, ECT. Minimum twice a week exercise & most importantly speak to your doctor & specialist. Also eat mainly wholegrain bread 🍞, instead of White 🍞. 1 coffee & 1 tea a day only, with 1 tea spoon of sugar. Also movies once a month. Guaranteed results from effects of diabetes, high blood pressure , heart attack & stroke. Because prevention is definitely better than cure. This diet I highlighted, is more suitable for people living with type 2 diabetes, because they have to eat regularly & avoid eating large portions, when hungry. It's totally up to you. You can make diabetes your best friend or worst nightmare. Just look up the long term effects such as stroke, bypass surgery, obesity, high blood pressure, gangerine, blindness, heart attacks, annurysim, imputance, fatigue & thirst. & Many other health hazards. You can diffuse the bomb, before it blows up. Just look up all these conditions, & don't burry your head in the sand 🤗👍. Oh & never cure depression, heartbreak & bore-dome with food, it's the worst thing you can do. It's better to go for a drive to the gym or bike ride, beach or picnic. The best way to cure bore-dome is to do something constructive like cleaning, washing the car, gardening, reading & sleeping. You'll never feel thirsty or tired. Your body will love you for it. Because the basic functions you used to do that you take for granted, you'll difinetly miss after a stroke. Also the most important thing that diabetics need to understand is that after a stroke, when your kidney functioning is at 11%, you have to undergo dialysis & your are restricted to 600ml fluids a day, because most fluids go to your legs & leak through the skin. The good thing is at this stage it's not hard to reverse your diabetes & bring kidney functioning to 70%. But it's better to control your diabetes 20 years earlier, & avoid all these complications, & put your extra 💸 towards your mortgage &; supporting people in need, & God Will help you.😄😄😄😄😄😄. 🥨🍟🍕🥐🥖🥯🍜🍛.

The processed carbs thing is true, i went from store bought bread to making my own bread. Even if its white bread i notice I actually get fuller quicker and i dont eat as much. Not sure what they do to the store bought stuff, I'm thinking sorcery lol but it does make a difference

Dieting For Success Making It Happen By: Josh Garcia Dieting is far too often approached from the mindset of impending failure. Too many people have tried and failed so many diets in their past that they try the next new diet with the absolute knowledge that they will fail in this attempt as well. Guess what? They will. Henry Ford once said, “If you think you can or think you can’t you will always be right.” If you think you are going to fail at this diet you are dooming yourself to failure before you even deprive yourself of the first bite. Think about that before you begin because only a true masochist could find pleasure in perpetuating this vicious cycle without ever stopping to wonder why none of the other diets have worked for you. Henry Ford also said, “Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently”. In case you were wondering I would say his words are quite profound. Seriously though, if you do not examine the reasons for your failures you are certainly dooming yourself to repeat them and if you are already planning to fail why on earth would you even try? You are the only person who can take control of your need to eat. You are the only one who can pay attention and notice when you are eating for emotional fulfillment and when you are eating from necessity. You and you alone can get yourself out of your chair and on your feet. You are the only one that can take the responsibility for the condition in which you find yourself. There are medical exceptions but even in these situations if you are trying diet after diet and failing over and over again then you must at some point in time realize that it is quite likely not the diets that aren’t working. We must all be accountable for our successes and failures in life. It is no different when it comes to dieting. There are few better feelings in the world than for someone to notice and compliment your efforts. If you are very obese unfortunately, it may take a little more time for people to actually notice the weight you’ve lost. Too many men and women give up simply because no one noticed and that is an incredible shame. Give your dieting practices an opportunity to work before you decide they are a failure and you just might surprise yourself with a roaring success. The truth is far too few people hold themselves accountable to their dieting and weight loss goals. This means that far too many people are giving up without really ever bothering to give it an effort. If you have an issue holding yourself accountable to your dieting plans, perhaps you would do well to diet with a partner. This helps you not only set goals but also to meet and exceed challenges along the way. A partner can also benefit from the partnership as he or she will be challenged and feel the need to perform better than if he or she were dieting alone. You must hold yourself accountable to your stated dieting and weight loss goals in order to achieve any lasting results. If you have not had dieting success in the past, then perhaps it is time to bring some degree of accountability into the picture and make it happen. I feel like most diets online these days are either misinformation, false scams, not normal, are not out there to help you become healthier, and can even be dangerous when they are too low calorie, its the short term diets that don't work, they obviously they make you put on more weight than before, any diet that says "lose weight fast" or "fit in the dress in 2 weeks" is probably not one you should follow, i'm just focusing on eating healthy, more fiber and high protein, lots of coffee and tea too

i ve been doing the same things that you mention here for the last 15 months 1. cut on added sugar and refined carbs 2. eat more whole food instead of processed food 3. eat more fiber 4. do exercise regularly 5. get enough sleep every day 6. don't drink your calorie or at least limit them if you cannot stop it completely yet 7. manage your stress 8. track your own progress 9. eating slowly (pay attention only to the food on your meal time) it works really well for me, I believe it will give the same result for anyone if only they give it a try 🙂

Anyone else eat healthy and never eats junk food but is overweight? Some good tips here but calories and knowledge of calories is important. Sure you will naturally tend to cut calories by cutting sugar and adding veggies, but your portion control can be all wrong or the mix of fatty foods can defeat your efforts. And if you’re feeling deprived, you won’t stick with any good eating habits in the long run. Learn to delay gratification and indulge less. And it’s great you mention eating slowly and focus on the fact that something is going in your mouth when you eat.
